Rifle cartridges do warmth up barrels and handguards very quickly, but that’s not the case with pistol cartridges. Immediately after firing a hundred rounds in 10 minutes or so, the ahead two-thirds with the handguard was nevertheless place temperature and the again third was only a bit heat.
